Jessica Mackay completed her Master of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney in 2014. She has since worked across metropolitan and regional settings, gaining broad clinical experience before focusing her practice on women’s and pelvic health physiotherapy.
Jessica is a physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health, providing assessment and treatment for a broad range of bladder, bowel, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain and sexual function concerns. She also supports women throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period, including birth preparation and return to exercise.
Jessica has undertaken postgraduate training in pelvic health physiotherapy through WHTA, with particular interests in pelvic organ prolapse, antenatal assessments and complex bowel dysfunction. She is passionate about thoughtful clinical reasoning and providing evidence-informed care individualised to each patient’s needs, goals and circumstances.

Her professional education contributions in this area include teaching an Advanced Pessary Practical Course for physiotherapy colleagues at Dubbo Pelvic Health Clinic.
Her approach is warm, collaborative and patient-centred, with an emphasis on helping patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive concerns and empowering them to better understand and manage their pelvic health.
